This is my story. Music gave me dreams and goals and things to work towards and has taken me to places I could never have imagined. As the saying goes “I didn’t choose it, it chose me”.The funny back story here is that Kari and I wrote the song on the phone, her in Nashville, and me in my car in a Starbuck’s parking lot in Illinois. She was determined to write the tune and in the span of an hour or so we had most of it together
